About
I am a digital humanist and research software developer with a background in history and historical information science. My work connects digital history, digital scholarly editing, and the software that supports both, and I study and support how researchers can work with LLMs and AI agents. I studied History and Digital Cultural Heritage (EuroMACHS) at the University of Graz, worked at the university's Centre for Information Modelling (ZIM) from 2017 to 2024, and completed my PhD in Digital Humanities there in 2025. In 2022 I co-founded Digital Humanities Craft, a company in Graz that develops research software and AI-supported workflows for universities and cultural heritage institutions. I teach at the University of Graz and the University of Vienna, convene the DHd working group on applied generative AI in the digital humanities, and give workshops for research institutions, archives, libraries, and museums.
